I’ve been a fan of her books since 2007 even after the copy-write infringement from wahida’s book & taking parts from her own (Minas’s Joint) and putting it in Reckless 2 ( was a horrible book), I still was a fan but I can tell writing isn’t her passion anymore and this book shows it. It took her a whole year to release this book and it’s only 3 hours and some change long FIRST STRIKE. 80% of the book was literally describing designer materialistic stuff (clothes,shoes,jewelry, & furniture) EVERYBODY was wearing or owning & it was taking WHOLE PAGES to do that smh the other 20% are the characters ACTUALLY speaking (alot was just their thoughts) SECOND STRIKE. This is a CRIME MOB FAMILY, why would only two men go to sell 30 MILLION DOLLARS worth of heroin by themselves with no guns or backup to a guy that’s described as 6x9 to a T?!! Family or not they all would’ve been killed let this been a movie or documentary, nina sounds and look a $40 lunatic prostitute! STRIKE THREE this book was bad period. The author is so busy stalking the character inspirations on ig (taking pictures &videos from their pages), talking about makeup, celebrities, designer fashions, interior decorations, doing yt tea videos, & making mini movies. Just give up writing books and focus on the other stuff you want to do seriously I knew I should have went with my first mind, when I said I was done with Keshia's work. But since I brought the first book I decided to finish out the series, which isn't even the complete end to Dream. Keisha I don't know where you turned in you literary journey, but you must have taken a wrong turn. Your work has taken a drastic change and when I say change I mean a change for the worst. For you to be a woman approaching 40, your writing style has become very juvenile and childish. There isn't any maturity in your work or your characters. The over use of labels and materialistic references is very overwhelming. Every other page contains a list of price tags, no one cares to read that no one cares about the prices. There are ways to describe an outfit without including the dollar signs. I read the complete book and can't even tell you what the plot is. This story has no beginning or end; the words are just there. The over use of dramatics which aren't even funny is so unnecessary. The dry humor is terrible. The characters are so all over the place nothing makes sense. You should spend less time focusing on outfits and characters inspiration and focus on your kraft. This honestly will be my last purchase from you. I at least has too give 1 star but the book isn't even worth that in my opinion.
